We went to the beach for vacation this year and stopped by New Orleans on the way for a one night stop. This is a group picture on July 2nd in New Orleans!
Well, I’m not sure but I think she was working on laying some eggs! I went out in the yard this morning and couldn’t figure out why that squirrel wasn’t running off on the other side of the yard like they usually do. Turns out, it was a big old turtle that had dug a hole and was sitting over it like she was ready to drop some eggs! She is happy in Red Chute Bayou now!
I’ve been meaning to post some garden pictures since we first got started but I’m a little slow! Here is how Stephanie wanted to do a garden this year and I finally got around to getting the wood and dirt work done. This is when it all began on March the 18th.
Here is March the 28th
Here is April the 6th (Nat’s Birthday!)
And on May the 4th
And the tomatoes on May the 4th
Starting the harvest! This is a few things picked on May the 8th. Stephanie is one proud Mama!!
Stephanie and I went to Hot Springs over night during this spring break. We stayed at the Arlington for the first time. We’ve talked about staying there before but always changed at the last minute. That is one old hotel! Check out the view.
I usually don’t valet park but did here cause I have this bad idea that someone’s gonna cut into my car one day! Anyway, when we were leaving the old valet guy went on and on about Bill Clinton and how he put my car in Bill’s parking spot. The valet area for the Arlington is only for about a dozen cars but I guess Bill’s spot is the one right next to the door to the hotel!
Thanks to the Meme for keeping the children!
We went to the World of Wheels Friday night and after waiting in line for a while, Caden got to see one of his favorite wrestlers. Sheamus was at this World of Wheels. Here is a little about Sheamus, Facebook Page and WWE page. In all honesty, he seemed like a good guy seeing him with the kids and even a bunch of disabled kids that couldn’t make it up on the stage. I’m not a wrestling fan like Caden!!, but glad Caden got to meet him since he didn’t seem like a jerk! Here are a few pictures. Click on the picture below to see a few more pics, taken with my phone and not very good though! Caden even got him to sign his shoe!

Again they did great and looked a little scary too! Check it out.
The Cope Dance Line did a great job with their Halloween dance at Stockwell’s Pumpkin Light Night. Here are a few pictures and I’ll post a video when I get a chance.

We had to go to the National Beta Club induction yesterday for Natalie at Cope Middle School. I don’t know much about the Beta Club but it looked like a bunch of smart kids and I think they have to help out in the community! For some reason, I don’t remember being asked to join this club! More about the Beta Club here.
Maybe it’s the third home game! I think I got confused…
