We had a great time camping this last weekend even though it got down to almost freezing over night. This trip had been planed for a couple of months and I don't think the Scouts cancel camping trips! Anyway, we all were supposed to go on this camping trip including Stephanie. Well since it rained Friday night, that gave her an easy way out! All day on Saturday the wind chill was in the lower thirties and I asked kids a number of times if they really thought they wanted to stay all night with it getting so cold. They wanted to stay no matter what. I figured we could get in the truck and warm it up if we had to but I think they were better off than I was through the night. I'm proud to say we were in our little tent all night and made it just fine. The kids are ready to go again but I think I will wait a little bit to make sure we don't have to deal with that kind of cold again!
