Natalie had a practice gym meet at Bossier Olympiad Friday night. (October 13, 2006) They always have a practice meet at this gym before the meets start for the year. They did this like a real meet by doing warm ups, introducing all the girls and then doing all the events. They even had awards at the end. click here and there is a section of just Natalie if you want to check out some of the pictures. Overall she did real good but she had a not so good event and a real good event! She didn't finish the bars event very good and didn't score that great but did the beam event great. She was the only girl out of all the different ages and levels to get a blue ribbon. The blue ribbon means she made a score between 9.0 and 10.0. They don't tell them their exact scores in the practice meet and try not to let the girls focus on that part of this so much. We were real proud of her and she was excited about this all week. I think we are taking her to a real meet in Arkansas some time in December.
